This collection of 36 poems is the second published work by Anonymous Lenore. It’s a prequel of sorts to Villain Era and another labor of love for the author. What started with private writing as part of her shadow work continues to delve deeper into her past.

Golden Girlhood looks at the painful, sometimes traumatic events and emotions of the author's childhood and how these foundational experiences continue to affect and even shape her present. Lenore knows her challenges and emotions are not unique, that others will see their own experiences, challenges and emotions reflected back in her poems.

Lenore sincerely hopes that her shadow helps to illuminate your own. May you feel your truth in her words. May you find and use your own voice. May you heal and grow with love.
